Gameplay
This game is pretty much the same as a standard one. The only aspect of it that makes it different is that if you win with a blackjack that includes a red queen (a queen of hearts or diamonds), you’ll get a bonus 2:1 payout instead of a 3:2 payout. If you get a blackjack with a black queen (a queen of clubs or spades), you’ll get the standard 3:2 payout.
There are six decks of 52 cards, with no jokers present. All number cards are worth their face value; 10s and face cards are all worth 10; the ace can be worth 1 or 11. You and the dealer are both dealt two cards. If you have a blackjack, i.e. two cards that add up to 21, you win straight away, providing the dealer doesn’t also have 21. You can keep adding cards to your hand, though if you go over 21, you lose. Once you’re happy with your hand, you stand. The dealer then acts: they have to stand on a hand worth 17 or more and draw cards if their hand’s worth 16 or less. You’re betting on the dealer’s hand winning, the player’s hand winning or the game resulting in a tie. There are also several optional side bets available.
How to Win
To win, you simply need to have a hand closer to 21 than the dealer. Or, the dealer needs to go bust, i.e. go over 21. Here are some basic facts about the game:
- Betting values range from £0.10 to £200
- The maximum amount you can win is £900
- The RTP is a very high 99.8%
