How to Play Blackjack

There are two hands in blackjack: the player’s and the dealer’s. Each one of these is dealt two cards. Both of the player’s cards are dealt face-up, whereas only one of the dealer’s is. The aim is to have your hand as close to 21 as possible and higher in value than the dealer’s. You can add to your hand, though if you do you risk going over 21; if you do go over 21, you’ll lose. The dealer can also add cards to their hand and will also lose, or go bust if their hand exceeds 21.

This game has the player dealt three hands of cards, instead of just one. You can bet on one, two or three hands. The more hands you bet on, the more money you’ll have to spend. Each hand is individual and isn’t affected by the others. Bet on three hands, and you’re basically playing three games at the same time.

The game uses six decks of cards and follows all the standard rules. Since there are four hands in play, you have more chances than usual of winning. Here are some key facts about it:

  • RTP of 99.49%
  • High volatility
  • Blackjack pays 3:2
  • Insurance pays 2:1
  • Dealer stands on 17
  • Betting values range from 1 to 50

How to Win

When you come to play BlackJack at casinos online, all you have to do to win is simply get closer to 21 than the dealer. However, if you go over 21, you’re out. It’s a good idea to start betting on just one hand and working your way up to betting on two then even three hands once you’ve got used to how the game works.
