- This is a combination of a pair with a total value of 13. In this hand, an Ace always has a value of 1 and not 10.

The first bet placed before cards are dealt.

- Any Craps Bet
- A bet that a Craps will be rolled on the next roll.
- Any Seven Bet
- A bet that a total of 7 will be rolled on the next roll.
- Any Triple Bet
- A bet that the three dice will display the same number.
For example, this is an Any Triple 4:

- Banker and Tie Bet
- A bet on both a Banker bet and a Tie bet.
So, a bet that the banker’s hand will have a higher value than the player’s hand. Or that the player and banker’s hands will have the same value and tie.
- Banker Bet
- A bet that the banker’s hand will have a higher value than the player’s hand.
- Banker Bonus Bet
- A side bet that the banker’s hand will have a higher value than the player’s hand.
- Banker Pair Bet
- A side bet that the banker’s first two cards will complete a pair hand combination.
- Basket bet
- A bet on a block of five numbers. On the corner shared between the zero bet and the first line. This bet includes the double zero.
- Bet Timer
- After you click Spin in the game, the Bet Timer starts to count down the selected number of seconds and the ball is dropped onto the spinning roulette wheel. When the countdown is complete the ball stops in a pocket on the roulette wheel.

The coins used to play a casino game.
- Coins are counters used to represent a monetary value. The value of a coin is known as the coin size and is measured in credits. So, if the game you are playing represents bets and wins in coins, the actual monetary value of the bets and wins is measured in credits.The formula to calculate the conversion of coins to credits is: number of coins x credit coin size = amount in credits. For example, 5 coins x 2 credit coin size = 10 credits.
- Game bets, wins and balances are displayed in credits or coins, depending on the game you are playing.
- Big 6 Bet
- A bet that a total of 6 will be rolled before 7 is rolled.
- Big 8 Bet
- A bet that a total of 8 will be rolled before 7 is rolled.
- Big Bet
- A bet that a total of 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 or 17 will be rolled on the next roll.

This is a combination of an Ace and a card with a value of 10.

- Side Bet

Also known as Bonus Bet or Jackpot Bet
A bet placed in addition to your regular bet. Some side bets qualify you for extra payouts, such as bonus payouts or a progressive jackpot.
- Bonus Game
- A bonus feature that awards additional payouts.
- Bonus Payouts
- Payouts additional to the regular game payouts. In some games, you must place a side bet to qualify for bonus payouts.
- Bonus Symbol
- A symbol that activates a bonus game or awards additional payouts.
- Five-Number Line Bet

Also known as Box of Five Bet
An Inside bet on five numbers, comprising 00, 0, 1, 2 and 3. The chip is placed on the intersection of the dividing lines between 0 and 1.
- Square Bet

Also known as Box of Four Bet or Corner Bet
An Inside bet on a block of four numbers. The chip is placed on the spot in the centre of your four Straight Up numbers.
- Boxcars

Also known as Hard Six
When the outcome of a roll of the dice is a total of 12.
For example, this is a Box Cars:
- Burn
- To remove cards from the deck. This is done during a deal or after each shuffle and cut. Burn cards are placed in the discard tray.

- Bust
- To draw cards that exceed a total value of 21 in one hand. The hand is over and you lose your bet.
- Double Down

Also known as Double or Buy
To place a bet that your hand will beat the dealer’s hand, with only one more card drawn.
- Buy Bet
- A bet that a Place bet to Win will be rolled before a total of 7 is rolled.
- This bet is paid at true odds less a 5% commission.
- The 5% commission is only charged on winning bets.
- Call Bet
- A group of bets placed on the roulette table at the same time.
- Card Ranking
- The order of playing cards that determines what cards are stronger than other cards.
Cards are ranked from highest to lowest according to their denomination. This is:
- Ace (A)
- King (K)
- Queen (Q)
- Jack (J)
- Ten (10)
- Nine (9)
- Eight (8)
- Seven (7)

- Casino Credits
- The credits used to play a casino game.
- Credits represent a monetary value related to the currency you are playing in. So, if the game you are playing represents bets or wins in credits, the credit value is the actual monetary value you bet or win.The formula to calculate the conversion of credits to coins is: amount in credits / number of coins = credit coin size. For example, 20 credits / 10 coins = 2 credit coin size.
- When you deposit or withdraw funds from the casino, your transaction is represented in the casino as credits.
- Game bets, wins and balances are displayed in credits or coins, depending on the game you are playing.
- Casino Doubling Limit
- The casino has a set doubling limit. For more information contact the casino support staff.

- A slot game that has three reels and one or more paylines.
- Colour
- The two colours in a deck of cards. These are black and red.

- An Outside bet on nine numbers of the same colour. The chip is placed on one of the following coloured squares, either Yellow, Red, Purple or Blue.
- Coloured Pair
- This is a combination of a pair with the same suit colour, and of different suits.

- Column Bet
- An Outside bet on one of the three vertical columns. The chip is placed at the bottom of the columns.
- Come-out Phase

Also known as Coming-out Phase
The first phase of a Craps game, where the objective is to roll a Natural and win a Pass Line bet or Don’t Pass bet, or establish the Point.
- Come-out Roll
- The first roll of the dice in a betting round and determines the Point.
It is an attempt to win a Pass Line bet. Pass Line bets lose if the Come-out roll is a Craps. After rolling a Craps or a Natural the Shooter comes out again. If a Place number is rolled, the Point is established.
- Come Bet
- A bet that a Natural will be rolled, or the Shooter will make the Point. This is a bet similar to the Pass Line bet, but can only be taken after a Point is established.
- Commission
- The fee deducted from a winning bet by the casino.
In Baccarat, commission is only taken on a Banker bet.
In Craps, commission is only taken on a Buy bet or a Lay bet.

- Community Card
- A card that is dealt face-up to the table and its card ranking is shared by all players.
- Consecutives
- Cards following in order according to their card ranking.

- When the outcome of a roll of the dice is a total of 2, 3 or 12, on the Come-out roll.

- Cross Eyes
- When the outcome of a roll of the dice is a total of 3.

A set of playing cards.

- The 13 sets in a deck of cards. These are Ace, King, Queen, Jack and from Two to Ten.

- A card with a denomination of Two. Deuce cards are sometimes used as wild cards.

- This is a combination of an Ace, King, Queen, Jack and Ten card of the same suit, and a Deuce card. This hand can be completed with one or more Deuce cards.

- This is a combination of an Ace and a King, of the Diamond suit.

- A bet that a Craps will be rolled, or the Shooter will make the Point. This is a bet similar to the Don’t Pass bet, but can only be taken after a Point is established.
- Don’t Pass Bet

Also known as Don’t Pass Line Bet
A bet that a Craps will be rolled, or the Shooter will establish the Point.
- Double
- To gamble your winnings on a bet that you will draw a card of a higher value than the dealer’s card.
You can continue doubling until you draw a card of lesser value than the dealer’s card and lose the hand, or until you reach the Casino Doubling Limit.

- A bet that two of the dice will display the same number, and what the number is.

- Dozen Bet
- An Outside bet on twelve numbers – either High, Middle or Low. The chip is placed on one of the following areas: First 12, Second 12 or Third 12.

To request another card. You are dealt one card.

- Early Surrender
- To surrender before the dealer checks their cards.
The dealer checks their cards once the second card is dealt.
- Easy Way

Also known as Easy Number
When the outcome of a roll of the dice is a total of 4, 6, 8 or 10, and where the dice are not a pair.
For example, this is an Easy Four:
- Either Pair Bet
- A side bet that either the banker or player’s first two cards will complete a pair hand combination.
- Eleven Bet
- A bet that a total of 11 will be rolled on the next roll.
- Eliminated
- To be unable to continue to play in a tournament.
In Slot tournaments, you are eliminated if you do not qualify to advance to the next round based on your leaderboard position.
In Blackjack tournaments, you are eliminated if you:
- Have the least number of tournament chips in an elimination hand.
- Reach the end of a tournament but do not win.

- Elimination Hand
- A specified hand number in a tournament round where the player with the least number of tournament chips is eliminated from the tournament.
For example, the 5th and 9th hand played in a round are elimination hands.

- Entrance Fee
- The amount of money you pay to join a tournament.

- Establish a Point
- To set the Point.
- Even-Money Bet
- An Outside bet on eighteen numbers. The chip is placed on one of the following squares, Even, Odd, Red, Black, 1-18 (Halves) or 19-36 (Halves).
- Expanding symbol
- A symbol that expands to all positions on a reel to try and complete winning combinations.
- Expanding wild symbol
- A wild symbol that expands to all positions on a reel and substitutes for other symbols to complete winning combinations.
- Expert Mode
- The casino has two game modes – Regular Mode and Expert Mode.
Expert Mode has both advanced features and Regular Mode features.
- Face Card
- A Jack, Queen and King card of any suit.
For example:
In most games, face cards have a value of 10.

- Field Bet
- A bet that a total of 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12 will be rolled on the next roll.
- Five Aces
- This is a combination of four Ace cards and a Joker card.

- Five Card 21
- This is a combination of five cards with a total value of 21.

- Five Card or More 21
- This is a combination of five or more cards with a total value of 21.

- Five Card Trick
- This is a combination of five cards with a total value of 21 or less, and so does not bust.
This also applies if you are dealt a five card hand after splitting and the total value of the hand does not exceed 21.

- This is a combination of four cards of the same denomination and a wild card. This hand can be completed with one or more wild cards.

- Five of a Kind (Aces)
- This is a combination of four Ace cards and a wild card.

- Five of a Kind (Sixes through to Kings)
- This is a combination of four cards of the Six, Seven, Eight, Nine, Ten, Jack, Queen or King denomination and a wild card.

- Five of a Kind (Threes, Fours or Fives)
- This is a combination of four cards of the Three, Four or Five denomination and a wild card.

- Fixed Wild
- A feature that holds a wild symbol in a fixed position on the reels for a specific number of spins. The fixed wild symbol substitutes for other symbols to complete winning combinations.
- Flop
- The first three community cards dealt.
- Flush
- In a five-card hand, this is a combination of five cards of the same suit.
For example:
In a four-card hand, this is a combination of four cards of the same suit.

In a three-card hand, this is a combination of three cards of the same suit.

- Fold
- To discard all of your cards when you think that your hand cannot beat the dealer’s hand, and you want to minimise your loss. If you fold, your hand is complete.

- When the outcome of a roll of the dice is a total of 4, 6, 8 or 10, and where the dice are a pair.

- Hardways Bet
- A bet that a total of 4, 6, 8 or 10 will be rolled on the next roll, as a pair, before a 4, 6, 8 or 10 is thrown in any other combination, or before a 7 is rolled.

- High
- This is a combination of a pair with a total value of more than 13. In this hand, an Ace always has a value of 1 and not 10.

- The card with the highest card ranking at the table.

- A hand consisting of five cards.

Also known as Twist or Draw
To request another card from the shoe. You can request another card when your hand is not strong enough to beat the dealer’s hand, and does not equal or exceed the value of 21. You are dealt one card.
- Hold
- To keep the cards you want during a game.

- A form of poker where each player is dealt two pocket cards, and five community cards are dealt to the table. Players then use their cards to create the best five-card hand possible.
- Hole Card
- A card dealt face-down.

- House
- The casino establishment.
- House Way
- This is the Optimal Play Strategy designed for the game. The dealer’s decisions are based on the House Way and follow the casino rules.

- Inside Bet
- A bet placed on any number on the table, from 0 or 00 to 36.
The Inside bets you can place is determined by the type of roulette game you are playing.
For example, some of the Inside bets available are:
- Straight Up bet
- Split bet
- Street bet
- Square bet
- Five-Number Line bet
- Line bet
- Inside Straight
- A four-card hand dealt of any suit, in sequence except for one card to complete a Straight. If you draw and you are dealt the card to complete a Straight, this hand is called an Inside Straight.

- Insurance
- A side bet placed against the possibility of the dealer getting a Blackjack hand. You can take Insurance if the dealer’s first card is an Ace. An Insurance bet costs half your regular bet.
- Jack and Ace of Diamonds, Clubs or Hearts
- This is a combination of a Jack and an Ace card of the Diamonds, Clubs or Hearts suit.

- Jackpot
- A game’s highest payout.
- Jacks or Better
- This is a combination of either a pair of Jack, Queen, King or Ace cards.

- A card with a denomination of Joker. Joker cards are additional cards in the deck, used as wild cards.

- Kicker Card
- The highest unpaired card in five-card hands that have the same card ranking.

As the hands tie with no combination, the high card is used to determine the winner. The high card is the Ace, but as it is a community card, it is part of both the player and dealer’s hand. So, the kicker card is used to break the tie. The Jack and Queen are compared as kicker cards and as a Queen has a higher card ranking than a Jack, the player’s hand wins.
- King High
- This is a combination of a King, and any other cards with a rank lower than a King.

- Kings or Better
- This is a combination of either a pair of King or Ace cards.
For example:
- La Partage Rule
- A rule that applies when you have placed an Even Money bet and the Roulette ball lands on the Zero. The rule is that you only lose half of your Even Money bet amount.
- Ladder
- A feature where multiple features are stacked in either ascending or descending order. Winnings are determined by your position on the ladder.
- Late Surrender
- To surrender after the dealer has checked their cards. You can only surrender if the dealer does not have a Blackjack.
The dealer checks their cards once the second card is dealt.
- Lay Bet
- A bet that a total of 7 will be rolled before a Place bet to Lose is rolled.
Note: - This bet is paid at true odds less a 5% commission.
- The 5% commission is only charged on winning bets.
- Leader Board
- Displays information about players participating in a tournament. This includes each player’s alias, their position in the tournament, and the number of tournament chips or coins.

- Low
- This is a combination of a pair with a total value of less than 13. In this hand, an Ace always has a value of 1 and not 10.

- Low Card
- The card with the lowest card ranking at the table.

- Make the Point
- To roll the Point once it is established.

- This is a combination of a pair with different suit colours.

This is a combination of two cards with a total value of 8 or 9.

- Neighbour Bet
- Neighbour bets are bets placed on the neighbouring numbers of a Straight Up number on the roulette table. Neighbour bets are allocated as the numbers appear on the roulette wheel and not as they appear on the roulette table.
- Non-consecutives
- Non-consecutives are any combination of cards that are not Consecutives or Pairs.
For example, you are dealt a Five and a Nine.

- Non-Natural Hand
- This is a combination of any three cards, or a combination of two cards with a total value not equal to 8 or 9.

Also known as Taking Odds
These are additional bets placed on the Pass Line bet, Don’t Pass bet, Come bet, Don’t Come bet and Place bet, after the Come-out roll.
You can place an Odds bet once the Shooter has made the Point.
- One Dice Bet
- A bet that one of the dice will display a specific number, and what the number is.

Also known as Open-end Straight
A four-card hand dealt of any suit, in consecutive sequence except for one card at either end to complete a Straight. If you draw and you are dealt the card to complete a Straight, this hand is called an Outside Straight.

- Optimal Game Play is when the game is played according to the Optimal Play Strategy.
The strategy is designed to give you the best possible credits return.

- A bet placed on numbers outside of the table layout, such as Red or Black.
